When cycling surged in popularity during the 2020 lockdown, we recognized the opportunity to create beautiful, stylish, and functional products for a new generation of cyclists.
As avid cyclists ourselves, we were dissatisfied with the current phone holders available, particularly those labelled as universal bike phone mounts. That’s the story of Loop in two sentences.
Fast forward nearly half a decade and we’re extremely proud that both Micro Mount and Loop Mount have attracted some excellent reviews. Here’s a small selection of reviews for Loop bike phone mounts.

Tech writer Tom Wieckowski got stuck into not one but two Loop products in his 2024 test of the best bike phone mount for cyclingnews.com. Here’s some of his praise for our original Loop Mount, which Tom awarded the “Best Style” going: “If you want a quality mount that doesn't look out of place on your handlebars or take up too much cockpit room then I recommend you check out one of these.”
Meanwhile, our smallest bike phone mount, the Loop Micro Mount, attracted this comment from Tom: “The design is really neat and this is a great option if you want a semi-permanent phone mount on the bike that blends in well.” Couldn’t agree more, Tom. Read Tom’s full review here.

Over at Discerning Cyclist, a site dedicated to city and urban riding, Pete Reynolds got his hands on the Micro Mount to see how it performed. He liked Micro Mount’s caseless design. “The Micro Mount is an excellent bike phone mount. It saves you from faffing with a compatible phone case and its mounting position leaves your handlebars free for mounting other bits and bobs.” Pete’s review of the Micro Mount features some excellent pictures of the Micro Mount in action.

UK-based road.cc has been a stalwart of the cycling media scene since 2008. Mat Brett, writing about the Micro Mount, focussed on its retractable design. “It’s a phone holder for your bike that when not in use does a pretty good impression of a standard headset top cap.”

Sheer Luxe, spin-off, SLMan featured Loop Mount (alongside industry stalwarts like Rapha and Cafe du Cycliste) in their roundup of some of the best cycling accessories. As riders who interested in the cycling market, we’re thrilled to see Loop amongst some much more established brands.
THE STANDARD
The (London) Standard should know a thing or two about commuting on bikes around big cities, and in this article it takes you through a lot of the do's and don't for beginner cyclists, and points all cyclists in the right direction for safety when navigating when using your phone. Thankfully, our Loop Mount makes it into their "Best phone holders for bikes, 2024, tried and tested".
Transition Vélo -
Our bike phone mounts have been going down particularly well with the cyclists and media in France over recent months. Transition Vélo's motto is "Get well informed. Get well equipped. Ride Better." And so were very keen to put all our mounts and accessories through the test, and off of the back of their reviews, I think we've passed the test. Another of friends from France. They have completed the in-depth review of our Loop Mount, but haven't actually tested it first hand yet. They have been keeping a close eye on us since we launched and we have since sent them all our mounts to test on their bikes, so there will be more reviews coming from them soon. Cleanrider -
This time from France, we have Cleanrider. A site dedicated to all things two-wheeled and electric. They have also tested all of our products and done some really in-depth insights. In this test they have tried the Micro Mount in every mounting position possible, and have only good things to say. I think they'll be interested to know that we have a Loop Mount Charge in making, a mount that connects to e-bikes and charges as you go. More of that to come soon.

Another site dedicated to e-bikes, and this time we've made it onto their "Best phone mounts for your e-bike" They particularly like the design of our Micro Mount saying "perhaps the simplest piece of design you could imagine, you have to wonder why somebody didn’t do this sooner". Again, we'll be keeping them "in the Loop" (see what I did there?) with the news of our Loop Mount Charge for e-bikes.
